"Fingerprint reader is hit or miss"
I bought this mostly because of the fingerprint feature, so it’s been a bit frustrating, honestly. When it works, it opens quickly, which is great. But other times it just refuses to read my finger, even when my finger is clean and I’m placing it the same way. I’ve ended up using the app way more than I expected. For the price, I was politely hoping it would be a lot more dependable.

"Battery life has been a letdown"
well... I really like the idea of the Nuki lock, and when it works, it’s super convenient. But the battery life has been disappointing for me. It seems to need charging much sooner than I expected.
Maybe it depends on the door setup or the settings, but it’s frustrating having to keep checking the app and worrying it might die at the wrong time. For the price, I expected it to last longer between charges.

"I’m happy that Nuki still..."
I’m happy that Nuki still lets me use my regular key if I ever need to. It makes me feel a lot less worried about stuff like the battery dying or my phone acting up. Setup was straightforward, and so far it just works the way I expected

"Auto unlock almost never kicks in when I need it"
I really wanted the auto unlock feature to be smoother, but it barely works for me. Most of the time I’m standing there waiting and it just doesn’t open on time. Support basically told me to “make sure the settings are enabled and try again,” which I had already done, so that didn’t really help. It’s frustrating because this is the main feature I expected to rely on.

"I was in a good mood when..."
I was in a good mood when I set it up, and the setup was actually straightforward. When it’s connected, it works fine, but the Wi-Fi does drop every now and then. Not a dealbreaker, just a bit annoying when it happens.

"Works when it feels like it"
I really wanted to like this lock, but it drops connection way too often. At first I kept thinking maybe I was doing something wrong, but now I’m starting to feel like I got fooled by the idea of a smart lock that isn’t actually that reliable. When it works, it’s fine, but I don’t feel like I can count on it.

"Works fine, but fitting it felt a bit unfairly complicated"
The lock itself works ok, but figuring out whether it would fit my older door was more confusing than it should’ve been. I ended up having to buy extra parts, and the setup took longer than I expected. It’s not a bad product, but I do think customers deserve clearer info upfront so they know what they’re getting into before buying

"Easy setup, kinda annoying after that"
Setting it up was no big deal. Quick, actually. I was hopeful at first. But then using it every day… that’s where it started to bug me. Little things keep adding up, and it just isn’t as convenient as I thought it would be.

"Voice assistant support has been frustrating"
I bought the nuki mostly because I wanted to use it with my voice assistant, but it’s been really hit or miss. Sometimes it works fine, and other times it just says the device isn’t responding. Setup also took longer than I expected, which felt avoidable. The lock itself is okay, but the voice control just isn’t reliable enough for me

"Pretty easy to set up"
Got this set up in about 15 minutes without much trouble. The app walked me through everything clearly. I did run into one small pairing hiccup, but after that it worked fine. Overall, no complaints.

"I really wanted this to just work..."
I really wanted this to just work, but the app keeps losing the lock and the Bluetooth is a total drama queen. Half the time it just refuses to connect, like it’s on a coffee break. Frustrating when the main feature acts like Sir Disappears-a-Lot.

"Smart home setup has been frustrating, but not all bad"
I’ll be fair: when it works, it works well. But getting everything set up was way more of a hassle than I expected, and the Alexa scenes seem to break every time there’s an update. It’s not completely useless or anything, but it definitely hasn’t been the smooth smart home experience I was hoping for.

"I had to change the batteries way..."
I had to change the batteries way sooner than I thought I would. It kept popping up in the app, and after a while the lock started acting kind of sketchy. Swapping them out was more of a hassle than it should’ve been, and it wasn’t exactly cheap either. For what this thing costs, I expected it to be a lot less annoying. Disappointed

"Solid little lock, feels well made!"
I’ve been using the Nuki lock it feels sturdy overall. The plastic doesn’t have that cheap, flimsy feel, and once it’s on the door everything lines up nicely. Setup was a bit fiddly for me... not terrible, just a little annoying. But after installing it, it sits firmly in place and doesn’t rattle or feel loose at all. I do wish the knob felt a bit more premium, but for everyday use it seems strong, reliable, and good enough so far!

"Not really worth the monthly cost"
I get why they charge a subscription, and some of the features are fine, but paying every month for what feels like basic stuff just doesn’t sit right with me. It’s not terrible, and I still use it sometimes, but I also keep wondering why I’m paying for something that should probably be included upfront.

"Pretty reliable for everyday use"
For the most part, the bridge has been solid for me. It usually connects quickly and just does what it’s supposed to do. I did have to restart it a couple of times after updates, which was a little annoying, but not a huge deal in my opinion. Remote unlock is working fine now, so overall I’d say it’s been dependable most days.

"Pretty easy setup, just one small hiccup"
Getting the Nuki app set up was painless and only took me around 10 minutes. The instructions were clear, which was a relief, but one screen took a little while to load and I had to retry the Bluetooth connection once, which was slightly frustrating. After that, though, it connected smoothly and worked just like I hoped. Not absolutely perfect, but overall I was happy with it.
